We are thrilled to share the successful case of Robin, our adorable feline friend, who underwent re**al prolapse surgery and colopexy at Makati Animal Medical Center!

Robin, a beloved member of our community, faced a challenging health issue, but thanks to the expertise and dedication of our veterinary team, led by Dr. Rob (Surgeon), Dr. Apol (Attending Vet), Head Vet for confinement Dr. GK, and the rest of our team, Robin is now on the road to recovery!

Re**al prolapse is a serious condition, but with prompt intervention and specialized care, we were able to provide Robin with the treatment needed for a full recovery. Our team performed a colopexy procedure, which is a surgical technique used to secure the colon in place, ensuring Robin's long-term health and well-being.

We are incredibly grateful for the trust and support of Robin's family throughout this journey. Your love and commitment to Robin's care have been instrumental in his progress.

Celebrating Our First Parvo Patient and First Canine Parvoviral Survivor! 💜

We are excited to introduce Bambi, a one-year-old Pomeranian who recently survived parvoviral infection! 🐶🐕

Bambi was brought to Makati Animal Medical Inc. with symptoms like vomiting, loss of appetite, and bloody diarrhea. Due to being unvaccinated, Bambi tested positive for the infection. But after receiving the necessary fluids, antibiotics, and compassionate care from Dr. Era and our Vet Tech GK, Bambi was able to return home fully recovered.

Parvoviral infection is a severe disease that typically affects puppies, especially those who are unvaccinated or have incomplete vaccinations.

Symptoms include bloody diarrhea, vomiting, dehydration and more. Pet owners are advised to bring their pets to the clinic for a checkup if these signs are observed.

Remember, viral infections such as parvovirus can be prevented by vaccinations.
