MARCH 29, 2021 ADVISORY ON RESTAURANTS AND FOOD PARKS

Nililinaw po ng LGU Malay na ang mga restaurants at food parks sa Boracay Island ay papayagang mag-operate ngunit wala munang live shows/bands at iba pang uri ng live entertainment.

Ang Malay Composite Team ay magsasagawa ng random inspections sa mga nag-o-operate na restaurants at food parks sa isla para masigurado ang pagsunod sa minimum public health standards.

Ang mga bars ay hindi pa rin pahihintulutan mag operate alinsunod sa Executive Order No. 37, S. 2020 ng Provincial Government of Aklan.

Maraming salamat po at mag-ingat tayong lahat.

This is to clarify that all restaurants and food parks in Boracay Island will be allowed to operate as long as no live shows/bands and other live entertainment will be performing.

The Malay Composite Team will conduct random inspections on operating restaurants in the island to ensure their compliance with the minimum public health standards.

Bars on the other hand, are still prohibited to operate pursuant to the Executive Order No. 37 S. 2020 of the Provincial Government of Aklan.

The MDRRMO will conduct a SIREN TEST, TODAY (March 10, 2020) at anytime in Boracay Island. If you hear a LONG AND LOUD SIREN NOISE, please, DO NOT PANIC. It will serve as one of the Early Warning Systems of the Municipality of Malay for fast dissemination of information and additional alert system.

“VETERINARY MEDICAL MISSION” MULING IKAKASA SA BORACAY

Magandang balita sa mga pet owners, ang Malay Municipal Agriculture’s Office ay muling magsasagawa ng “Veterinary Medical Mission” sa isla ng Boracay.

Nakapaloob sa libreng medical mission ang consultation, deworming, vaccination, ligation and castration at iba pang uri ng gamutan para sa a*o at pusa.

Nakatakda itong gawin sa July 15 ng taong kasalukuyan mula 8:30 ng umaga hanggang 4:30 ng hapon sa Malabunot Covered court sa ManocManoc.

Ang free veterinary service na ito ay pangalawang beses ng inorganisa ng Malay Municipal Agriculture’s Office na layuning maihatid ang serbisyo sa mga may alagang hayop.

Katuwang sa naturang aktibidad ang Aklan State University (School of Veterinary Medicine) at University Extension and Community Services Unit Medicine (ASU-ECS) kasama ang Seoul National University-College of Veterinary Medicine ng Korea.

Ariya: READ EACH PHOTO'S CAPTION

In my years of practice in construction, I often hear this word throughout the construction process, from the design up to the actual turn key of the project. This is more frequent in residential projects.

But what are these “Ariyas”?

These are practices or traditions observed during the construction process. Mostly handed over by word of mouth from the elderlies. Some of which we are very familiar with and others even resembling the practice of Feng Shui. Filipinos believe that practice, or not practice thereof, may bring luck or bad luck to the home owners, during the construction and even the whole tenure of their stay in the house. Which usually is for the rest of their lives for most Filipino families.

So, we made a list of the more common Ariyas we heard of. Hoping that this would enlighten homeowners and guide home builders in the process. Though as for any other superstitious beliefs, it is not a MUST FOLLOW, but as our elderlies say. There is no harm in following them.

Again, these are not our own practices but those that some of our clients requested.
