HEALTH CONCEPT
Dietary complete food for adult cats intended to reduce oxalate stone formation and to dissolve struvite stones and prevent struvite stone re-formation.

Indication:

• Struvite stones

• Calcium oxalate stones

• Urinary tract diseases

Contraindication:

• Kittens

• Pregnant and lactating cats

• Medication with urine acidifying drugs

• Hypertension

• Chronic renal failure

• Heart failure

Acidification of urine pH
An acidic environment can prevent the formation of and promote dissolution of struvite stones.

Low calcium and magnesium content
The low content in the feed can inhibit crystal formation because calcium and magnesium are part of urinary stones.

Increase in urine volume
Water absorption is stimulated, thereby flushing the urinary tract through better.

Protection of the lining of the bladder
Glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate can strengthen the epithelial cells in the lining of the bladder.

Feeding period
Feeding period depends on type of disease. A feeding period of 5-12 weeks is recommended for dissolution of existing struvite stones, and a feeding period of up to 6 months is recommended for struvite stone prevention. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use or before extending the feeding period. Make sure your cat always has access to fresh water.. Energy content (according to FEDIAF, 2014): 1655 kJ ME/100 g.

Contraindication:

Low protein content
Protein that is not needed for building the body substance is filtered out through the liver and kidney. This load can be avoided by a low content of high-quality protein.

Reduced content of calcium and phosphorus
Animals with kidney disease can usually no longer get rid of phosphorus. Reducing the phosphorus content in the feed prevents overconsumption.

Alkalization of the urine
Chronic kidney diseases often lead to an acidification of the organ systems. This can be counteracted by a specific mineral quota.

Inhibition of inflammatory processes
Omega-3 fatty acids can alleviate inflammatory processes in the tissue and have a positive effect on the filtering capacity of the kidneys.

Feeding period
Initially up to 6 months. Make sure your cat always has access to fresh water. Energy content (according to FEDIAF, 2014): 420 kJ ME/100 g.

Balancing in case of electrolyte loss
Chronic diarrhea leads to loss of vital minerals. An increased content of electrolytes in the feed balances this deficiency.

Promoting intestinal health
Mannanoligosaccharides block the uptake of bacteria via the intestinal mucosa and activate the immune system. Fructooligosaccharides can act as nutrition in a healthy intestinal flora and thus promote the displacement of pathogenic bacteria in the intestine.

Easily digestible
The protein and carbohydrate sources used are easily digestible and thus relieve the gastrointestinal tract.

Inhibition of inflammatory processes
Omega-3 fatty acids can alleviate inflammatory processes in the gastrointestinal tract.

Feeding period
Feeding period depends on type of disease. In case of acute absorption disorders in the intestine 1-2 weeks, to compensate for insufficient digestion, 3-12 weeks are recommended. Our homebred, Gr Ch Trapper (X-Cellence Invincible) went to Clark and had some fun, winning Best of Breed/Gr 1/Best Phil Born in Show3 under judge Patricia De Coning of South Africa. And also Best of Breed/Gr 4 under judge Judy Docksey of Australia.
