Mama Luna and her sole surviving Christmas Puglet.

She gave birth to 2 dead pups at home last night amidst christmas eve celebration with difficulty. She was brought to CnHAC this morning for emergency CS. Unfortunately, out of 3 extracted puppies, only one has a weak hearbeat and took almost 3hrs to revive.

PAKIUSAP PO SA MGA FUR PARENTS, PLS DO NOT SELF MEDICATE. Ivermectin toxicity is becoming more and more common these days.

This is Phoenix who came in a week ago with primary complaints of intermittent vomiting, lethargy, inappetence, weightloss and rust colored urine. Upon history taking owner mentioned that the patient has been suffering from skin conditions for months now so they bought Ivermectin powder at a local agricultural supply shop.

According to the owner (non-verbatim) "binigyan namin ng mga one-third siguro nung sachet isang beses isang araw mula mid-october gang November, di sure"

Blood test were conducted and Phoenix was given fluid theraphy along with medications to aide his recovery. Thankfully, as per owner yesterday, Phoenix has regained his appetite and his urine has improved.

Matcha wild and his "crystals" (late upload)

Matcha was brought in with complaints of hematuria (bloody urine) and stranguria (difficulty urinating). He has prior history of such and was notoriously wild and aggressive eversince so he requires to have the cat helmet for everyones' safety. He was sedated and catheterized to flush out his obstructed urethra.

Below were some of the urolithial sediments collected in his urine and a microscopic view of the crystals.

Tacky was brought to our clinic with primary concerns of darkish vaginal discharge. A complete blood count was done revealing very high WBC count and she was referred for an ultrasound. She was scheduled for Ovariohysterectomy to remove infected uterus. The procedure was successful and she was discharged after an overnight stay. Hoping for your fast recovery, Tacky girl.
