CITY ORDINANCE 2018-052-09
AN ENABLING ORDINANCE ADOPTING REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9482, ALSO KNOWN AS THE ANTI RABIES ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE 2018.

Section 17.

There shall be compulsory registration of all dogs in the Barangay. All dogs found within the city, including those that had been previously registered, shall be registered at their respective barangay office. A dog registration form approved by the committee will be used.

Section 18.

A mandatory registration fee shall be collected. The registration fee shall be one hundred (100) PESOS which will be good for three (3) consecutive years. Fifty percent (50%) of the said amount shall be remitted to the city treasurer's office while the remaining fifty percent(50%) shall remain in the barangay. This shall constitute the special fund of the CSJDMRPCC and BRPCC to be used in implementing this ordinance respectively. However, if the owner lost the vaccination card given to them they shall again pay the registration fee.

Section 52. PENALTIES

a.Pet owners who fail or refuse to have their dog registered and immunized against rabies shall be punished by a fine of two thousand pesos (2,000.00).

Due to the nationwide shortage of general injectable anesthesia used in neutering and the significant increase in the cost of the remaining supplies, the prices of our services that require the use of these biologics will temporarily and slightly increase.

This adjustment will take effect starting in February and may return to normal or increase further depending on the status and price in the market of the said supply in the coming months.
