Recently, Harley, a 2-year and 3-month-old female Corgi, was rushed to us for an emergency cesarean section. Her X-ray showed an estimated 7 puppies, and after careful evaluation, we proceeded with the surgery. To everyone’s delight, Harley gave birth to 8 healthy, beautiful puppies!

Marga, a 2-year-old female American Bully, was admitted to our clinic as she approached her due date for pregnancy. In some cases, like with this Pomeranian, a cesarean section becomes necessary to ensure both the safety of the mother and her puppies during delivery. Pomeranians, being small-breed dogs, are sometimes prone to complications during labor, such as dystocia (difficult birth) due to their small pelvis and the relatively larger size of the puppies.

We successfully performed a cesarean section on this brave new mama, allowing her to deliver healthy, beautiful puppies. Cesarean sections, though routine in emergency care, require close monitoring and skilled veterinary intervention to ensure the well-being of both the mother and her litter.
