If you have the capacity to take care of cats (or even dogs), please do consider adopting first. If you have already welcomed pets into your loving homes, thank you for that but please commit to them all their lives and not abandon them at all cost. All cats, or rather all pets, are deserving of a loving home.

There are many suitable pet cats in shelters and homing centres waiting for someone to welcome them into their home. However, a cat without a traditional home doesn’t always mean an unhappy cat. Some cats are less suited and tolerant than others to living indoors and with humans.

We use the term ‘unowned cats’ to describe the many different lifestyles of cats because not all cats are made the same. All these cats need different types of help based on an understanding of the range of these lifestyles. Trivia night: For british shorthair, is it BRI or BSH??? What’s the difference?

For WCF, the right EMS code for british shorthairs is BRI since BSH actually stands for Brasilian Shorthair per WCF EMS code. In the Philippines, we usually refer to british shorthairs as “BSH”. There are other cat organizations, such as FIFe and ACF, who refer to british shorthairs as BSH as well. These organizations usually have the brasilian shorthair as an unrecognized breed.

Introducing our cattery’s 11th litter from Ph Champ D’Whiskey and Godiva (their 2nd litter), twin males Kyoto and Kobe. Kyoto is a solid choco while Kobe is a choco sepia-point. 😻
