Posting for awareness! (RE: Scam alert/Modus/Identity theft)

We were almost scammed for 16,260 pesos!
Sharing our experience for our customers and fellow store owners to be aware of their scheme.

A scammer going under the name Lyrose Honasan has targeted our store for bags of branded pet supplies (Royal Canin).

(*If you know a person named "Lyrose Honasan" or the photos used belonging to somebody else, please inform them that their identity is being used to scam people/businesses.)

Please be aware of this name and his/her/their modus. They may use other names so please be vigilant as this may be an individual or group of people capable of coordinating events within themselves to make transactions look legit.

"Lyrose Honasan" initially messaged us for Royal Canin dog supplies (Shih Tzu dry food), she then asked our available stocks of this item (later on we realized that they intend to take in bulk). Afterwards, she was looking for cat food (RC Hair and Skin) and then offered bags of pet supplies to us - see photos. She has now become the supplier from being the buyer. The prices she offer were unusually low as well.

After a while, a lalamove rider (without a tracker or link provided) would come to your store to claim the order. They will send a legitimate-looking screenshot of a successful bank transfer, at the same time, you will receive a text - for us it was from BDINFO. Same thing, successful bank transfer via PESOnet saying this is non-reversible.

Take note that PESOnet is not a real-time transfer. They will use this as an excuse for you to wait for the amount to reflect to your account (within the day or the next) and for them to claim the goods at that moment since lalamove rider is already waiting.

Too many red flags at this point! We did a quick check of the name in Facebook and learned they scammed another store (for around 7,000 pesos) and are offering pet supplies in other groups too. We called off the transaction. She insisted on her payment and kept lalamove riders coming different from previous riders. We haven't cracked the whole process and who is/are the persons behind but we can learn from this experience.

Red Flags:
>Insisting on urgency/completion of transaction
>Inconsistent tone in conversation
>Blurry screenshot of payment
>Mismatch in reference number from screenshot to sms messaged
>Taking advantage of PESOnet and "non-reversible" payment
>No delivery app link

*In case of suspicious bank transfer, call your bank right away to confirm the transaction.
