Wrap the year with a wellness visit for your pet and help them greet the holidays feeling calm, comfortable, and cared for. 🎄

December gets busy for all of us, but our furry companions still rely on us to keep them healthy through the celebrations, the visiting guests, and all the little changes that come with the season. Our hearts (and schedules!) were full last weekend.

From November 28–30, we were honored to be part of meaningful events that gave us new opportunities to share our mission and connect with more pet-loving communities.

November 28 kicked off with All4Pets Shine a Light, a Paw-star Christmas 2025 Celebration and the World Premiere of CrittersBreakout, an innovative game designed to support animal welfare groups. It was inspiring to see people come together for an initiative that blends fun with purpose.

The same day, we celebrated the grand opening of a partner café – PAW'P UP COFFEE. While we’re still finalizing our partnership, we already have exciting plans underway, including future adoption drives right in their space, where supporters can meet our adoptables, enjoy a meal, and maybe even find the newest member of their family. 🐶🐱

November 29 took us through Day 2 of All4Pets Shine a Light and Day 1 of , where we connected with more pet lovers and friends in the animal welfare space.

Finally, November 30 wrapped up with Home Fur the Holidays, closing our weekend on a high note, with meaningful conversations, new supporters, and more visibility for the animals under our care.

Thank you to all the organizers, partners, volunteers, and visitors who made this packed weekend possible. We appreciate you all, and we’ll see you again at our next event!

CARA Ambassadors, The Pinoy Dog Whisperer - Mr. Lestre Zapanta, and his wife, Ms. Cathy Zapanta, dropped by CARA Home for Dogs last November 22 to lead a dog training session for our volunteers. It was a full day of learning, patience, and real hands-on guidance.

URGENT HELP NEEDED

A concerned resident has been asking for help since November 28 to rescue a cat stranded between Brgy. Sta. Rita and Brgy. Tikay in Guiguinto, Bulacan. Sadly, neither barangay has taken action, each pointing to jurisdiction. The cat is weak, alone, and has had no food or water for days.

If you are in the area or know someone who can assist, please reach out. Any help, even sharing this post, can make a difference. This cat doesn’t have much time left. 💔

Volunteer Spotlight: Kim 🌟

Kim joined CARA to help abandoned and neglected animals receive the care, love, and compassion they deserve. He believes kindness should be shared with everyone, and volunteering with CARA has given him a way to live out that belief and contribute to a meaningful cause.

His most rewarding memory as a volunteer is helping rescued animals find their forever homes. Seeing them finally loved and cared for makes every effort worth it.
