Volunteer Spotlight: Kim 🌟

Kim joined CARA to help abandoned and neglected animals receive the care, love, and compassion they deserve. He believes kindness should be shared with everyone, and volunteering with CARA has given him a way to live out that belief and contribute to a meaningful cause.

His most rewarding memory as a volunteer is helping rescued animals find their forever homes. Seeing them finally loved and cared for makes every effort worth it.

On September 18, our CNVR Team had the pleasure of meeting with First Balfour’s President and COO, Mr. Jose Valentin Pantangco Jr., alongside representatives from Admin, Safety, Housekeeping, and their dedicated cat volunteers.

We had a productive discussion on CNVR and Community Cat Management, sharing ideas and strategies to ensure safer, healthier lives for community cats. Collaboration like this is key to creating lasting change for our feline friends.

No life should be ended because it’s convenient. 💔

Convenience is never a justification for ending a life that can still know love and safety.

For every animal facing an uncertain future, we owe them more than a quick, tragic fix. We owe them commitment.

CARA Welfare Philippines recently participated in Tiktok Shop Philippines' "Beauty Not Cruelty" event, a celebration of brands that promoted cruelty-free beauty products and pet wellness. Speaking to content creators and influencers, CARA Trustee Eleanor Agulto gave an overview of CARA's mission to help stop animal cruelty through kindness, compassion and action. CARA president Nancy Cu Unjieng and CARA volunteers Ceg, Nympha, Liezel, Zyd, Mariel and Aljane attended the event.
