We regret to inform you that our application for CWR has been denied. This decision is based on Section 2 of DAO 2004-62, which states that all wildlife acquired from legal sources must be registered. Unfortunately, we faced the same challenge as we did two years ago.

We are deeply disappointed, but we will still remain committed to complying with all regulations and working towards resolving these issues.

We are reaching out to everyone on our axolotl community for assistance and guidance as we pursue our final option for securing CWR.

Our final solution involves importing axolotls legally from outside the Philippines, which comes with financial costs and risks.

We’re reaching out to you for help in making this happen. Specifically, we need assistance with:

- Identifying axolotl vendors outside PH who have a CITES permit.
- Finding reliable services for transhipping aquatic animals to the Philippines.

If you have any leads or contacts that could assist us with these requirements, please let us know. Your support is crucial as we navigate this process.

Yes, this has been confirmed by the Regional Office as our only option. We will also need to secure an import permit.
