The sad reality:

May mga clients na willing gumastos sa pets nila kahit ang situation is hopeless.
Samantalang may mga clients naman na ayaw gumastos or walang pang gastos kahit na may pag-asa pa sanang mabuhay kung malalapatan ng gamot ang mga alaga nila.

May mga clients na kahit hindi nireremind, nag pupunta ng kusa sa clinic para magpa laboratory for wellness assessment kahit man apparently very healthy tingnan ang alaga nila.

Samantalang may mga clients naman na ayaw magpa test kahit sinusuggest na ng Doctor na kelangang gawin ang laboratory test.

Kaya napaka blessed ng isang pet kapag napupunta sya sa isang responsible na “furparent”

This is how a uterus with Pyometra looks like. The pet owner said it looks like a “ pork longganisa” but actually the size of this infected uterus is much larger than a typical longganisa.
It is swollen due to the pus and blood that accumulates inside the uterine horns.

After two sessions of chemotherapy we achieved excellent result. There is regression of the cancer mass and the skin opening is now completely healed.

We’re glad to say that the number of cat parents who have gained more awareness about their cats’ well-being have risen.
We have observed that the number of cats visiting our clinic after the COVID-19 pandemic are now almost equal to the dogs. Compared to dogs, cats are low maintenance pets when it comes to grooming and food consumption.

To Andrea Imperio who posted her disgust dahil hindi daw trinato ng maayos ang a*o nya:

Here is my side as an attending Veterinarian of your pet:

Nung dinala nyo ang a*o nyo sa clinic ko that Monday night galing sa ibang vet clinic, hindi na ito nakakabangon. Upon physical examination, I have found out na sobrang emaciated ang dog. Buto’t balat. Very weak and pale, hypothermic, sobrang buhol ng balahibo sa buong katawan. May bahid na dark p**p ang pwet at balakang. The patient is grunting in pain.

Based on the record na dala nyo from other clinic nakasulat na PARVO positive ang a*o at positive ng ROUNDWORMS, negative sa canine distemper.
Tuesday morning nag start na nag seizure ang patient. I have a video recorded. At nagtuloytuloy na ang pag seizure until the day na pinakuha ko sya sa inyo. I recorded 13 times na seizure attack since Tuesday to Thursday morning.
Tuesday evening , nag administer ako ng mga gamot, pinunasan ko sya ( sorry kung di talaga matanggal ang dumi sa buhol nyang balahibo) at binigyan ng gamot, napansin ko ang mata nya na may discharge. When I check the eye, nakadikit ang mga balahibo at Nakita ko na namamaga ang mata. I flushed it with eye wash and drops some Gentamicin sulfate. Sadly may mga buhok talagang di matanggal sa mata nya dahil nasasaktan sya. Buhol buhol ang balahibo ng dog nyo sa mukha. Kung na notice mo ginupit gupit ko ang hair sa pisngi nya para mas makita ko ang affected eye..

Wednesday mas naging maga ang mata nya and I noticed the other eye na nagmumuta na rin at namumula. So nilagyan ko na rin ng antibiotic drops.
Sabi mo okay ang mata ng a*o nyo bago nyo pina admit? Did you really check it?
Dahil ako Nakita ko na hindi okay ang mata ng a*o nyo, nung hinawi at ginupit ko ang mga balahibo nya.
Ngayon sabi mo na nag tanong pa ako sa kapatid mo kung napaano. Of course I had to ask. Dahil existing na yung problem nung nahawakan ko ang patient.
Ano ba sa akala mo ako ang may gawa nun sa mata ng alaga nyo?
Saka naka 24hrs pa lang yung a*o nyo na naka admit dito sa clinic nung Nakita ko ang namaga na mata at kung bago lang yung eye problem nya hindi dapat ganun ka severe ang pamumula at pamamaga.
And let me tell you also na hindi na lumulunok ng recovery diet at water ang patient.

You said sana di mo na pina admit at sana kayo na lang ang nagbantay. Well tama ka. Agree ako dyan. Sana nga kayo na lang nang hindi na kami ang nasisi mo.

Ngayon regarding sa euthanasia suggestion, it’s because I saw how much your pet is suffering. Have you seen it kung paano sya mangisay? Kung paano sya sumigaw kung paano sya umuungol sa gabi?
Have you read my text message? Hindi offending ang pag sabi ko nyan sa inyo.

If you feel bad about my suggestion then I’m sorry. But I feel more sorry for the terrible appearance and condition of your dog.
It is deteriorating dahil sa kanyang virus dahil hindi sya napabakunahan and probably hindi napa deworm.
Siraan mo ang clinic ko hanggang gusto mo. Sabihin mo ang gusto mong sabihin. Kung yan ang ikaka relieve ng kunsensya mo.

Hindi kita papatulan dahil I understand your guilt for neglecting your pet.

IF ONLY YOUR DOG COULD SPEAK SIGURO MAS MAGPASALAMAT SYA SA AKIN.

PS: Instead na manisi ka ng doctor at manira ka ng clinic why not take it as a lesson to become a responsible fur parent next time.
