We are a leading supplier of mud crab boxes that utilize recirculating aquaculture technology (RAS) in the Philippines. Our company is committed to providing high-quality, sustainable, and reliable aquaculture solutions to our customers. Our journey began in 2019 when our founder, Gerry Balingit Jr, saw the need for a sustainable and efficient way to fatten mud crabs in captivity. After years of r
esearch and experimentation, we have developed a system that utilizes RAS technology to provide the optimal environment for mud crab growth and development. Our mud crab boxes are designed to provide a clean, controlled, and stable environment that mimics the natural habitat of mud crabs. Our system uses a recirculating filtration system to minimize waste and optimize water quality, ensuring that our crabs are healthy, stress-free, and free from diseases. At Philippine Crab Aquaculture, our success is rooted in our commitment to sustainability and customer satisfaction. We work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide customized solutions that meet their requirements. We offer a variety of mud crab setups to fit different capacities and budgets. In addition to supplying the mud crab box setup, we also provide training and technical support for our customers to ensure that they get the best results from our systems. Our team of experts will guide you through the entire process of setting up and managing your mud crab boxes, from initial planning to harvesting. Thank you for choosing Philippine Crab Aquaculture. We look forward to serving you and sharing our love for sustainable and high-quality mud crab products with you.

Philippine Crab Aquaculture - RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) is a team dedicated to the development of the R.A.S. in search of the most efficient and profitable system. In order to do this, it was important to form a team of experienced individuals capable of achieving the vision.
On March, 2019, Gerry Balingit started his own vertical crab farm with very limited knowledge in this new technology. However, with his 15 years experience exporting tonnes of crabs every month to countries such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and etc., he pursued setting up his vertical crab farm. Since it was a new technology, he had to go through the process of trial and error. It costed him a big amount of time and money.
He then called his friend who is an engineer, Jeremiah Ramirez, to help with the development of the system. It was important to think through the changes in the construction of the system thoroughly before applying them to save time, effort, and money. Jeremiah was able to help with the innovations and adjustments in the system. This went on for 3 months with progress everyday learning what are the doโs and donโtโs.
With more confidence and familiarity with the system, Gerry and Jeremiah was ready to share the technology to the public. They called on Emmanuel Jucutan, Robert Oflear, and Robert Kristian Oflear II to help with the growth of the business.
Emmanuel Jucutan is experienced in logistics and marketing. His role is to make sure that the processes in the business would go smoothly, bridging the team members to the tasks they need to do. He is also responsible for the marketing of the system and services offered by the company. This includes the logistics of the trainings and seminars of clients.
Robert Oflear is an experienced leader and developer of businesses which has yielded big successes. He is responsible for the business side of the operations such as the designing of the business model and its feasibility as well as how it will help clients become and stay profitable.
Robert Kristian Oflear II is a business student that has experience in starting a small business from scratch, managing its over all operations, logistics, and marketing. His role in this venture is to make sure that the marketing of the system is successful. He will also prepare the modules for the trainings and seminars of clients.
With new members in the team that Gerry has put together, it is essential to introduce them to the technology and have trainings about the system. The team is aware that the R.A.S. need continuous learning in order to be more efficient. With this awareness, they decided to travel to Malaysia to visit an existing vertical crab farm incorporating the R.A.S. to learn more about the system and innovations used by other farms in different parts of the world. In this trip they were able to gather information about how they can improve the farm that would fit perfectly on the Philippine market. They learned that the Philippines has the most potential in achieving success in the crab farming business using the R.A.S. . They were also able to gain contacts with like-minded businessmen who are always available to answer questions and share their knowledge to the team.
With the collected knowledge and experience of the team, they are now excited to share the business to the rest of the Philippines! Message us now to learn more about it.
