The Bunny Basket PH and BUNNY LAB is HIRING

- preferably experienced
- able to handle rabbits of any size
- animal lover (appreciates living creatures like rabbits)
- can follow instructions carefully
- meycauayan bulacan location

What you will do:
- maintain cleanliness of the facility (our rabbits require clean habitat)
- feed the rabbits, according to instructed diet
- grooming (no bathing, just trimming of nails, brushing and cleaning the fur)
- report any health issues of each rabbit
- work full time (8am-5pm) Monday to Sunday, for 2 small rabbit facilities/houses or we can discuss hours

There’s a series of Howcast videos that are extremely helpful. Actress and comedian Amy Sedaris and rabbit educator Mary Cotter teamed up with Howcast to create a series of short videos about every imaginable house rabbit topic. There are 49 topics in total. Some of the everyday updates include:
🔹 Keep rabbits in a hutch or cage – NEVER
Free roam is best (after bunnyproofing) or x-pen, if using an enclosed area, absolutely no smaller than a four by four or two by six. Best is more like four by six and at least six by ten for a play area.
🔹 Providing dried food 24/7 – Absolutely NOT…
… unless baby, nursing mom, or under rabbit savvy vet instructions
🔹Rabbit’s love to eat carrots – Most do but that doesn’t mean they should have them often. Only once or twice a week and just a slice of a medium carrot
🔹Picking rabbits up often – No No No
As prey animals, most rabbits hate to be picked up. They feel sure that they may die. Get on the floor with them

Education on how to care for rabbits TODAY, is a must. I known there are other trustworthy websites, books and videos. If I failed to mention yours, sorry! Please feel free to message me so I don’t miss it in future posts.
