𝟏𝟒 𝐏𝐍𝐏 𝐊𝐀𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐎𝐆 𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐓𝐀𝐏𝐎𝐒 𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐁𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄

Nagtapos ng Combat Tracking Course ang 14 miyembro at non-commissioned officers ng Philippine National Police mula sa Police Regional Office 5 sa Camp Simeon Ola, Legazpi City, Albay.

Ang naturang kurso ay inisyatiba ni PNP Bicol Regional Director PBGen Andre P. Dizon katuwang ang PNP-Explosive Ordnance Disposal K-9 Battalion, Army Intelligence Regiment of the Philippine Army at Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division na naglalayong mabigyan ang mga opisyal ng pulisya ng mahahalagang kasanayan sa paghahanap, pagtukoy, at pagbibigay-kahulugan sa mga palatandaan upang mangalap ng tumpak na impormasyon tungkol sa mga potensyal na kalaban.

Nagsimula ang pagsasanay noong Abril 28 hanggang Agosto 7 kung saan dumaan sa 90 araw ang mga kapulisan sa mga tracking techniques, sign interpretation, survival skills, at ang paggamit ng mga police service dogs sa pagsubaybay.

Tampok sa pagtatapos ng mga kapulisan ang simulation exercise kung saan ipinakita ng mga ito ang kanilang mga naisakatuparang kasanayan. Kasama dito ang pagbuo ng limang tao na tracking team, mga aksyon sa pagtugon sa isang lugar ng engkwentro, pagpili at pagpapakita ng mga artikulo ng pabango sa mga a*o ng serbisyo ng pulisya, pagsasagawa ng pagsubaybay sa kaaway, at pagbibigay-kahulugan sa mga indikasyon ng a*o sa serbisyo ng pulisya upang magsagawa ng pag-atake.

Ayon kay RD Dizon, ito ang unang pagkakataon na isinagawa ang naturang kurso sa PRO 5. Tiwala siya na malaki ang maitutulong nito sa pagpapanatili ng kaayusan at kaligtasan ng publiko sa Bicol.
