This statement is to clarify misinformation circulating on social media regarding Marshall, a male harlequin Great Dane.
* Marshall departed the island one year ago.
* During his time with us, he was never mistreated or neglected.
* Residents of the neighborhood are familiar with Marshall, as he frequently accompanies us on outings.
An recent social media post on the SPAR animal cruelty page falsely implies that I am an irresponsible breeder.
I am the proprietor of Anubis Twentythree Kennels, a Philippine Canine Club-registered kennel. We previously bred Great Danes and Bullmastiffs, adhering strictly to breed standards. Our participation in dog shows in Manila resulted in champions, including Anya, Marshall's mother. Marshall himself was part of a planned breeding intended to improve the breed. We have ceased breeding activities indefinitely, and Marshall was the last litter produced by the kennel.
