FIP, short for Feline Infectious Peritonitis, is a viral disease that affects cats. It is caused by a coronavirus infection, and unfortunately, FIP can be fatal. However, thanks to life-saving treatment with Immune Globulin Serum (IGS), cats like Bubu have a chance at recovery.

The clinical signs of FIP can vary, making it challenging to diagnose. Cats may display symptoms such as fever, lack of appetite, weight loss, lethargy, and fluid accumulation in various organs like the abdomen, chest, or around joints. These clinical signs can mimic many other diseases, making FIP diagnosis difficult.

Through the journey of Bubu, we witnessed their determination and resilience. After being hospitalized at the clinic and the BASMI FIP treatment, It's a testament to the incredible progress in veterinary medicine and the unwavering love and support of their human companions.
