We’ve been receiving a lot of DMs asking about our rabbitry practices and the meds we use 🐇💉
So here’s a quick peek at some of our go to treatments and why we use them.
Ivermectin / Pre-breeding antibacterial shots – to prep and protect our does before pairing.
Oxytetracycline LA -Antibacterial shots for undetermined sickness – for those times when symptoms don’t point to anything specific but early intervention helps.
Norovit - Support shots during nursing months – to keep our moms strong and healthy while feeding.
Oxy - Assistance for delayed labor – to help our does deliver safely.
Neovax - A topical ointment, likely an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial/antifungal, used for wound care and to prevent infection and speed up healing.
These items are actually available through popular online platforms, hindi na need mag hagilap sa poultry and vet shops 😅. Use at your own risk, but we suggest watching YouTube videos or doing a bit of research to familiarize yourself first.
Every rabbitry has its own way of caring for their herd.
This is ours. hoping it helps fellow breeders and keepers. ❤️
