Dahil tag-ulan na at uso ang PARVO, kaunting kaalaman: 🤔

ANO ANG PARVO o CPV:
- Ang Canine Parvovirus (CPV) o mas kilala sa tawag na parvo ay isang lubhang nakakahawa at mapanganib na sakit para sa isang a*o. Ang parvo virus ay mabilis na dumarami sa katawan at cells ng a*o at madalas na malubhang tinatamaan nito ay ang bituka ng iyong alaga. Inaatake din nito ang white blood cells kapag ang apektadong a*o ay tuta pa lamang. Maaring tamaan ng virus ang mga kalamnan ng puso at maging sanhi ng kanyang kamatayan.

SAAN ITO NAKUKUHA:
- Ang parvo virus ay maaaring makuha sa paligid, lupa, sa dumi ng hayop partikular ng a*o o sa alinmang bagay na nagkaron ng contact sa infected na dumi

PAANO ITO NAKUKUHA NG A*O:
- Maari itong makuha kung may direct contact sya sa infected na a*o, madilaan or makain nya ang infected na dumi o bagay

ANO ANG MGA SINTOMAS AT PAANO MALALAMAN NA INFECTED NA ANG INYONG ALAGANG A*O:

-Narito ang ilan sa mga sintomas ng parvo sa a*o na kailangan mong bantayan:
· Severe bloody diarrhea – malubha pagtatae na may kasamang dugo
· Labis na panghihina
· Kawalang ganang kumain
· Mataas na lagnat
· Mabilis na pagbagsak ng timbang
· Pagsusuka

ANONG EDAD NG A*O ANG PWEDENG TAMAAN NG PARVO:
-Karaniwang tumatama ito sa 1 year old pababa, ngunit kung mababa ang resistensya at walang bakuna ang 1 year old pataas na a*o ay pwede din mainfect.

ANO ANG PWEDENG GAWIN PARA MAKAIWAS SA PARVO ANG INYONG ALAGANG A*O:
- Panatilihing malinis ang paligid, pagkain at tubig, at regular na magdis-infect
- Iwasang pagalain sa labas ang inyong alagang hayop kung hindi pa kumpleto ang bakuna
- Pabakunahan ang inyong alagang a*o sa Beterinaryo as early as 6 weeks old

MAY LUNAS BA SA PARVO:
- Walang gamot na diretsang pumapatay sa parvo virus. Supportive at Symptomatic Treatment lamang ang pwedeng ibigay sa ating mga alaga. Ito ay para patigilin ang pagsusuka, pagbibigay ng antibacterial, fluid, protein, glucose, electrolytes, and antibody.
Sa loob ng 3 araw ay maaring ikamatay ito ng a*o kung hindi malulunasan. Kaya mahalaga na sa unang araw pa lang na makitaan ng anumang sintomas ang inyong alaga ay kumonsulta na sa beterinaryo. 🐶🐱
