As we prepare to welcome the New Year, let's remember to keep our furry friends safe and calm during the festivities, especially when it comes to their fear of loud noises. Fireworks and loud celebrations can cause anxiety and stress for our pets. Here are some tips to help them through this time:

𝟭. 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲: Set up a cozy area in your home where your pet feels safe. This could be a quiet room with familiar bedding and toys. Close windows and draw curtains to minimize noise and flashes from fireworks.

𝟮. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲: If possible, stay with your pet during the celebrations. Your presence can provide comfort and reassurance to help alleviate their anxiety.
