Big cheers for Big Boy! ๐คโจ
Big Boy, an outdoor cat, was admitted due to severe dehydration and constipation for two weeks. It was confirmed via radiograph that he had a fecal impaction on his lower bowels, with an initial treatment of enema and laxatives. This treatment, however, was deemed ineffective, and was advised to move forward to two more surgeries to improve his condition. On the third day pos-operation, he was able to pass his stool normally and was able to regain his appetite after a week and a half.
After a month of recuperation and strict monitoring of diet and fecal output, Big Boy went home cheerfully and enjoy the unlimited head scratches and belly rubs from his fur parents.
