This is Kyprus, a 2 month-old labrador that was rushed to the clinic due to seizure, hypersalivation, lethargy and inappetence. Upon history taking, it was known that this young pup had ingested a bleach disinfectant. Medications and IV fluids were immediately given, accompanied by close monitoring by our Resident Veterinarian🩺👩‍⚕️ In order to prevent bleach poisoning: 1. Keep bleach products away from your pets. 2. Clean up any spills so that they are not left lying around for your dog to lap up. 3. When not in use, keep bleach products in locked or on high shelves or any area inaccessible for them to reach.
