Although parasite (TICKS/FLEAS/MITES) prevention is essential all year due to our weather here in the Philippines, they peak during the summer.

Use Nexgard, Simparica or Bravecto or ask your Vet what’s best suited for your pet.

Both cuties just received their Simparica Trio yesterday. 😍

2nd Image: The fluid filled uterus with the ovaries after removal. In this case the fluid is a mixture of blood and pus.

PYOMETRA is a life threatening condition in dogs.
Treatment of choice is surgery.
It is common in intact females and old dogs. It can also happen in cats.

Infection may lead to kidney failure, toxemia, sepsis and death.

Neutering can prevent this problem to your furbabies.

Ask your Vet about it!
