Here’s how you can help:

✅ 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀. Fireworks are scary enough without the added risk of toxic fumes or sudden escape attempts.
✅ 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲. Close the windows, pull the curtains, and play some calming music
✅ 𝗣𝗲𝘁-𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲. Keep things like chocolate, fruit cake, alcohol, and other hazards out of reach.

A 3-year-old female dog named Aryha was brought to our clinic due to persistent eye discomfort. She exhibited 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘪𝘰𝘯, a condition where the eyelids roll inward, causing the eyelashes to irritate the eyes. This was noticeably more severe in her left eye compared to the right. Aryha also showed signs of 𝘱𝘵𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘴, or drooping of the upper eyelid, which further affected her vision and comfort.

Our veterinary team recommended surgical correction through a specialized procedure often called a "facelift." This surgery carefully adjusted the position of Aryha's eyelids to prevent irritation and improve her vision. The surgery was a success, and she is now healing well.

Entropion and ptosis are common yet treatable conditions that can adversely impact a pet's quality of life. If you notice excessive tearing, squinting, or visible changes in your pet’s eyelids, don’t hesitate to bring them in for a check-up. Early intervention can make all the difference!

Baying, a 6-year-old female dog, was brought to our clinic due to symptoms of discharges (𝘱𝑎𝘨-𝘢𝑤𝘢𝑠), lethargy (𝘬𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘺𝘢), and reduced appetite (𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘬𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘬𝘢𝘰𝘯).

These symptoms pointed to a severe reproductive issue, prompting our team to perform an ultrasound. The diagnosis: open-type pyometra, a dangerous uterine infection that, if left untreated, can lead to severe complications.

Our team performed surgical intervention via ovariohysterectomy (spaying or 𝘭𝑎𝘺𝑔𝘪𝑡) to remove the infected uterus. We’re pleased to report that Baying is on her way to recovery.

👉 Pyometra is preventable through spaying or 𝘭𝑎𝘺𝑔𝘪𝑡. This simple procedure eliminates the risk of such life-threatening infections.

🩺 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱-𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗣𝘆𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗮 🩺

A 6-year-old female dog named XC was brought to our clinic after showing symptoms of vomiting and a complete loss of appetite. After conducting an ultrasound, we confirmed a diagnosis of closed-type pyometra — a severe uterine infection where the cervix remains closed, trapping infection inside.

Unlike open-type pyometra, this form can go unnoticed until symptoms become severe, as there is no visible discharge to alert pet owners.

Our team performed an ovariohysterectomy or spaying to remove the infected uterus to prevent further complications. We are pleased to share that XC responded well to the procedure and is now on the path to recovery.
