It's been a year of living green!

Here are the highlights of the year that was. Thank you so much to our clients, collaborators and the team who has been with us since the start.

Hey parents and kids!

We are going to start a series of online plant workshops to make our planting experiences more fun. To start the ball rolling, we are launching a Microgreens workshop in January 2022 tailored for kids. Mom or dad can join in the fun as well for a great family bonding activity!

5 slots (tandem) will be given away to 5 lucky parent child duo! Microgreens kit will be provided as well for free!

Mechanics:

1. Take a picture of your best looking edible green plant
2. Post it in your IG/FB stories and tag us (Grow Urban Greens)
3. You can post as many plants as you want (1 plant=1 entry)
4. Deadline is on 20 December 2021 11:59 pm PH Time.

Winners will be randomly selected via lucky draw on 25 December!

Fancy a Mojito? 💁‍♀️

This popular drink is always enhanced by its' mint flavor.

Mojito Mint was brought to North America from Cuba. Up until 2005 or 2006 this mint was rare and hard to get outside of Cuba.

Imagine having your own mint plant and harvesting whenever you feel it is mojito time!

I'm sure you have heard of the famous basil herb, which is popular to use in Pesto.

Italian Large Leaf Basil is most commonly used in pesto. To get the strong, robust flavor, crush fresh basil leaves then add olive oil. Soak it overnight for best results.

These 3 seedling tray will be going to UP JODA, Balara JODA and Tandang Sora JODA for the urban gardens of our out of work drivers!

Since the pandemic, the drivers have started their small pockets of gardens around Quezon City to further supplement their food supply and also a way to be productive during these lockdowns.

Pledge a seedling tray!

We are looking for people to donate seedling trays (Basil, Oregano, Mint, Tomato seedlings) for the benefit of urban gardens of our out of work drivers (Balara JODA, UP Joda and Tandang Sora JODA).

The pandemic has hit the livelihood of our countrymen including the drivers and an urban garden was started by them to supplment their food! Good job mga kuya! We can help them out by providing them more herbs and edible plants!

This is in partnership with and our Miss Philippines Earth Air .
