Nagsagawa ng Veterinary Medical Mission with Spay and Neuter ang Office of the Provincial Veterinarian sa Macalelon, Quezon nitong Disyembre 17-18, 2024. Ang mga serbisyo na libreng ibinigay sa mga furparents ng nasabing bayan ay ang mga sumusunod: libreng pagkakapon, pagbabakuna ng anti-rabies, pagbibigay ng bitamina at pagpupurga para sa mga a*o at pusa ng ating mga Quezonians. Ang aktibidad ay pinangunahan nina Dr. Philip Augustus Maristela, at Dr. Camille Calaycay kasama ang ilang mga technical personnel ng tanggapan.

Nagsagawa ang Office of the Provincial Veterinarian sa paanyaya ng Camp Nakar Veterinary Dispensary ng isang pagsasanay patungkol sa Meat Safety. Naging panauhing tagapagsalita si Dr. Adelberto Ambrocio, Veterinarian IV, na tumalakay sa ligtas na pamamaraan hinggil sa paghahanda at pag-iimbak ng pagkain upang maiwasan ang potensiyal na mga panganib sa kalusugan na nagdudulot ng malubhang pagkakasakit sa tao.

Ginanap ito noong ika-13 ng Disyembre, 2024 na dinaluhan naman ng mga kawani ng Tactical Operations Wing Southern Luzon. Pinangunahan ito nina Commander Brigadier Gen Pedro S. Francisco III at Major Gerard R. Dimayuga, Veterinary Corp Commanding Officer.

Naging panauhing tagapagsalita sa ginanap na Seminar on Swine Farming sina Dr. Milcah Valente, Head ng Livestock and Poultry Development Division, at si G. Leandro Julian Nuñez, Head ng Swine and Poultry Unit, mula sa Office of the Provincial Veterinarian. Tinalakay nila ang ilang mga pamamaraan sa tamang pag-aalaga at pagpaparami ng mga baboy.

Pinangasiwaan ito ng Office of the Municipal Agriculturist ng Pagbilao kung saan nakibahagi rito ang mga kalalawigan nating magsasaka mula sa iba’t ibang barangay sa bayan ng Pagbilao, Quezon.

Naimbitahan ng National Dairy Authority si Provincial Veterinarian Dr. Flomella Caguicla para maging observer at magbigay ng ilang opinyon sa isang Focus Group Discussion (FGD) ng mga Dairy Farmers ng Quezon at mga katabing lalawigan.

Ang nasabing FGD ay isinagawa sa Harvest Building, Brgy. Bulakin 2, Dolores, Quezon, nitong Disyembre 10, 2024.

Tinalakay ang mga kasalukuyang problema ng mga Dairy farmers at kung paano ang mga posibleng hakbang upang mabigyan ng solution ang mga ito. Ang aktibidad ay naglalayong mas mapataas pa ng mga farmers ang kanilang produksiyon ng gatas.
