Firecrackers and loud noises may be a norm this coming Christmas and New Year revelries, but they can surely cause anxiety to our pets. Remember, dogs can hear twice as loud as hoomans, so those bangs may be too harsh for them.
Below are some tips for helping our furry family member feel comfortable and safe amid all the fireworks.
FIREWORKS SAFETY FOR PETS:
1.) Keep your pets secured inside your homes.
2.) Give them a safe place to hide. (setup a comfortable room or crate in your house just for them.)
3.) Use ambient noise to mask the firecracker noise outside. (a radio or TV playing comforting music works well)
4.) Stay with them & talk to them. (Sometimes your presence makes the difference)
5.) Keep them busy. (give them toys/chew toys to distract them from the celebration outside)
6.) Give PET REBOOST as anti-stress and anti-dehydration supplement.
