Some of the penalties are:
(1) Pet Owners who fail or refuse to have their Dog registered and immunized against Rabies shall be punished by a fine of Two thousand pesos (P2,000.00).
(2) Pet Owners who refuse to have their Dog vaccinated against Rabies shall be liable to pay for the vaccination of both the Dog and the individuals Bitten by their Dog.
(3) Pet Owners who refuse to have their Dog put under observation after said Dog has Bitten an individual shall be meted a fine of Ten thousand pesos (P10,000.00).
(4) Pet Owners who refuse to have their Dog put under observation and do not shoulder the medical expenses of the person bitten by their Dog shall be meted a fine of Twenty-five thousand pesos (P25,000.00).

Well, even our furbabies can feel it too. Just like, Gboy.
Gboy was experiencing all the said clinical signs and did you know if you prolong it long enough it can destroy the intestine? How so? Well simple, every day you have your food intake, the problem is you cannot pass it out. It expands the intestine to its limit and therefore may cause intestinal damage and pushes other organs. Some extreme cases, it can lead to major surgical intervention but when brought early it is somehow manageable. Enema is a minor procedure wherein you directly suck out those poop with the help of some special equipments and skills. It cannot be done to every furbaby, itโs a case to case scenario. Gboy is somewhat lucky! What a relief!

Ola! Iโm Sky. I was vomiting and having diarrhea. The vet took a sample and tested it, I was indeed positive for feline parvovirus. Got confined, got treated and then voila! Here I am. Resuming my wellness program and preparing myself for vaccine! ๐โโฌ
Feline Parvovirus or Feline Panleukopenia is a viral disease of cats that also presents diarrhea and vomiting. Familiar?
๐ฉ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ It is because dogs also have Parvovirus disease.
Is it contagious to dogs?
๐ฉ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ Fortunately, NO. Feline Parvovirus are not transferable to dogs, only to cat-family.
