Run free, Sandugo. 🌈

We regret to inform you about Sandugo’s passing. This is a late announcement since we were still grieving about her loss, we were trying to cope up by playing around with our other resident cat, Lebron.

Quick history, Sandugo is really a stray outside our clinic. We just named her Sandugo since she kept on staying in front the Sandugo store beside our clinic. Way back 2021, she keeps on getting pregnant by other male stray cats. We decided to do neutering since as we observe, she is too stressed during her pregnancies. We tried to keep her inside our clinic after her procedure, but she keeps on escaping every time the clinic door opens so we just let her. We just thought that time that she’s more comfortable outside loitering in front of the Sandugo store.

Fast forward to January, 2025. We observed her decreased in weight, we decided to keep her inside and did some blood tests. She resulted to have elevated liver and kidney enzymes. Maybe that’s one reason when we kept her inside, she’s didn’t try to escape anymore and decided to stay with us.

We gave her medications, but she didn’t respond well and just last week, her body gave up already.

We were sad about her passing but we were happy at the same time that she decided to be with us in her remaining days.

You will be missed so much, Sandugo. 🌈🐱
