'I AM HEART-BROKEN AND ENRAGED TO HEAR THE MAULING OF KILLUA'

Senator Grace Poe expressed anguish and disbelief over the brutal killing of a Golden Retriever named Killua.

In a statement on Wednesday, Poe shared that she proposed a law to further safeguard animal welfare in the country following "numerous reports of cruelty, neglect, and abandonment of animals."

"It is envisioned that they shall work hand in hand with the corps of Animal Welfare Enforcement Officers (AWEO) from non-government organizations, citizens' groups, community organizations, and other volunteers who have undergone the necessary training and have been deputized by the Department of Agriculture Secretary as well as animal welfare enforcement officers from law enforcement agencies," she added.

As of press time, the bill is currently pending in the Senate Committee on Agriculture.

Fur parent Vina Rachelle decried the cruel death her pet Killua suffered under Anthony Solares who allegedly did the act in "self-defense."

She shared on Saturday that they "found his lifeless body inside a sack."

Dogs sleep a lot more than people do. On the average, dogs need about 12 to 14 hours of sleep a day. Big dogs tend to take longer naps than smaller dogs, and puppies need about 18 to 19 hours of sleep a day, usually waking up for an hour after every few hours of sleep. 😏💤🐶🐕🦮

Why do Dogs Wag Their Tail?
Dogs wag their tail to convey a range of emotions: happiness, nervousness, feeling threatened, anxiety, submission and excitement.
Recent research demonstrates that the direction of the tail wag can communicate complex emotions to other dogs.
Its worth remembering that dogs dont use their tails purely for communication, its often used to aid in balance and stability.
Also, the most important thing to remember is that a waggy tail doesnt necessarily mean a happy or friendly dog. A wagging tail is simply a sign of a dog interacting with its environment.

When saying goodbye for my FURBABIES😞😢 It's a difficult goodbyes as a dog BREEDER💔 Its really a heartbreaking moment but here's some tips to overcome those difficult times:

1. Take a deep breath. This is totally normal. Its totally normal to be sad. Feel it. Ugly cry.
2. Talk to other furparents
3. If possible, meet the new furparent
4. Take advantage of meeting the new fam. Keep in touch.

Most of the dogs sleep from 12 to 14hours a day. Puppies sleep even longer, up to 20hours, and the same goes for senior dogs. They get tired faster and need more time to regenerate🐶🐶🐶
