- Treatment almost always requires surgery.

Maddie underwent surgical procedure today for her cherry eye treatment.

Oreo had escaped, and when he returned home his right eye was protruding. He underwent temporary tarsorrhaphy, 10 days after the surgical procedure his eye is slowly returning to normal and he still has his eyesight.

Thanks to Oreo’s guardian for bringing him to the clinic as soon as possible and saving his eye.

After 2 days of confinement, finally Anna the brave furbaby went home today! Hurry!

Anna, a referred patient, underwent cystotomy on Saturday, December 2, 2023. The surgery involved making an incision in her bladder to remove a bladder stone, which was confirmed by an X-ray prior to her visit to the clinic. When Anna arrived, she was experiencing discomfort and pain. Additionally, a day before the surgery, Anna had stopped eating and was struggling with urination. Given her critical condition, urgent treatment was required to potentially save her life.

Myiasis is a condition caused by the infestation of fly larvae in a living host. It can be very uncomfortable for the affected animal and can cause various health issues. This furkid was recently brought into the clinic due to a skin laceration below her left eye. This injury caused significant swelling in her face. Additionally, during the examination, more than 50 maggots were found, which is a common problem with open wounds in animals.

Ear mites live in the ear canal and on the surrounding skin. Signs of ear mites in dogs include scratching around the ears, head and neck, skin irritation, head shaking, the presence of an ear discharge that is dark and waxy (resembling coffee grounds) and an unpleasant odour from the ears.
