Spay and neuter surgery have its own advantages and disadvantages. Here are some of it.

3. Prevents aggression / alters behaviour
4. Limits markings
5. Can provide a longer and quality life

𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀
1. If owner is not fully prepared for the post-op care, it is not recommended to have your pets altered since it requires such attention to prevent unnecessary incidents
2. It requires almost 24hrs e-collar to prevent licking of wound and cage-rest for a week approximately; but if your pet does not find it very comfortable, its best to train them to wear e-collar and cage-rest for weeks or days prior surgery day
3. All surgeries has its own risks. It is expected. That's the truth but we opt to prevent it. With the help of series of blood works and discussions, prevention of the risks can be achieved.

As the typhoon brings heavy rain and strong winds, 𝐥𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐫𝐲! Some pets are left in open cages or tethered outside, exposed to the elements. Please take action now!

🔹 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 with scrap tarpaulin, posters, or plywood to protect pets from rain and wind. If bringing large pets indoors isn’t feasible, ensure they have secure, sheltered areas outside.
🔹 𝐒𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐩 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 with food and water to help them feel secure.
🔹 In flood-prone areas, 𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐬 trapped by rising waters. Keep an eye out for stray animals and offer shelter if possible.
