WHY DO YOU ALLOW THEM TO STRAY?

Possibly friends, buddies, a pack of two. The brown dog lying lifeless, while the other one possibly waiting for his buddy to stand up and slap him, to say that this was just a bad dream.

We have witnessed many time that pets, dogs and cats, are creatures capable of emotions. They have sense of loyalty. They have sense of feeling happy and sad. But many among humans do not understand that.

Owners do not keep them safe inside their premises. Especially the aspins, they are the strays here because their breed is not lucrative, not even a status symbol.

You know what is a status symbol in having a pet? It's not their breed, its how much they are loved.

Some drivers on the road also don't seem to care. It does not mean that a dog or cat is on the road, straying, it is a permission to run over them. Such as the case of Alliyah we rescued last night from Catalunan Grande or the five puppies that were sleeping in the middle of the road, crushed by an SUV in Wellspring Highlands.

Such a painful photo. It gives me headache to write about it. Animal welfare in this city, in this country is such a lot of work. When will we be ever more civilized?
