In pets, xray is usually requested as part of annual wellness check. Sometimes, they're requested for specific purposes.

This dog has urinary stones in the bladder. It might have been missed without an xray.

Parasites of dogs and cats can be dangerous to you and people around you, specially to kids and the elderly or to individuals with poor immune system.

This one is an example, Toxocara. It's the usual bulate we see on puppies specially from breeding animals that aren't dewormed.

Our general advice are:

👆- adult dogs and cats should be de-wormed monthly, regularly their whole life. You see, we can't prevent dogs and cats from grooming themselves, lick their paws and putting nasty things in their mouth.

✌️- puppies, (and the mother) as early as 2 weeks should be de-wormed. Repeat every two weeks while they're nursing.

🕒 - breeder animals need worm treatment before breeding and after whelping.

🕓 - And also, outside your home, clean after your pet!
