📍Heavy Rain Reminder📍

Please keep your pets indoors. If you see any stray outside, please give them temporary homes.. 🏠

Reminder, as the rainwater increases, the incidences of diseases like Leptospirosis also increases. Make sure your pets DO NOT drink from puddles, stagnant water and rainwater. Keep them inside and keep them safe.

Leptospirosis is a deadly disease commonly acquired through contact/ ingestion of contaminated water/food. ☔️☔️

After the attending veterinarian performed a physical examination, Pogi was found to have an Umbilical Hernia. He underwent a simple surgery to correct the hole and return the abdominal contents back into the abdomen. He is now happy and is observing a healthy lifestyle. 👏

It’s important to see your veterinatrian if you notice any lump or anything off about your dog’s health or behavior. Your vet will diagnose a hernia using physical examination, palpation of the affected area, and imaging like X-rays to see inside your dog’s body.
Then, based on the type of hernia diagnosed, your vet will recommend appropriate treatment.

Paintbrush was rushed to the clinic by his furparents due to ingestion of foreign body - SLIPPERS. The attending veterinarian gave him a chance to expel the FBO but some pieces remained stuck inside and opted for surgery removal after a few days.

Dogs are curious by nature. They love to investigate new sights, smells, and tastes. Unfortunately, this curiosity can lead them into trouble. However, while some foreign bodies pass uneventfully through the intestinal tract, not all of them do. If an obstruction occurs for some reason, surgical removal of the blocked object is the only treatment.

Foreign body obstruction is one of the more common and potentially life-threatening conditions seen in veterinary practice.
