"My family and I never planned to have cats. In fact, we preferred dogs. It wasn't until Lucky came into our lives late last year that we realized we had a huge soft spot for cats.

Lucky was a stray cat my kuya adopted last October, 2022. He used to sleep on top of our car every night. When my kuya realized Lucky had a gentle demeanor, he bought a small bag of cat food to feed Lucky. When Lucky became more and more comfortable with us, my kuya then decided to take him to the vet to have him bathed and vaccinated.

We named him Lucky because our relatives who lived in the provinces believed that cats who choose their owners bring luck.

We truly are lucky to have Lucky in our lives."
