It’s time we elevated dog keeping in our country. We need to do better for them who cannot speak and defend themselves. We need to do better in our own homes. How we treat them, what we feed them, and how we let them live their lives.

Teach those who are uneducated, do not support those who spread false info, choose who you idolize wisely, always ask why and do not be swayed by marketing gimmicks. Report animal cruelty. In comes in different forms. Not just physical abuse.

Yes, they are a part of our family, but…. They have different needs than us. If you truly love your dog, respect our difference as species.

Sa tagal ko nag aaso, I found out na you cannot force dogs into doing things you want right away. They must be willing first for it to be effective. Each dog has their own pace when they will get comfortable. When they will give their trust. Our job is to help them reach that level the safest possible way. Aaminin ko naniwala din ako before sa aversive methods. Using pain to try and control dogs. Pero all it does is supress the unwanted behavior and create more problems down the line. Plus it just makes your dogs stressed. The best method is a calm but firm technique. Your dog will feel your frustration. They in turn will be frustrated too. Kaya habaan ang patience. Make it clear what you want from them. And most importantly, give them time to understand what you want to happen.

Sa mga nagpapakain ng processed dogfood, yung dry kibbles, hindi ba kayo nagtataka bakit pinapalitan ng vets nyo yung diet nila pag may liver or kidney damage? Yung mahal na nasa delata. Kung totoong beneficial and balanced yang mga processed dry kibbles, bat pala need mag “special diet” mga may organ problems?
