A Lifeline For Pets With Chronic Renal Failure.

Chronic Renal Failure (CRF) is a challenge many pet owners will encounter. Unfortunately, it is common in older dogs and cats, and many will eventually suffer.

Some of the signs associated with CRF are:

1. Increased thirst and urination
2. Decreased appetite and weight loss
3. Vomiting and diarrhea
4. Lethargy and weakness
5. Ulcers in the mouth

CRF ultimately leads to the premature demise of your fur baby. However, some interventions will help in keeping this from happening.

There will be several things that your veterinarian will recommend to alleviate this condition, like reduction of phosphataemia and decreasing glomerular hypertension.

The phosphataemia related to CRF must be controlled. This is because it is the only way to increase the life expectancy of dogs and cats with CRF.

How do we do that?

Use Ipakitine!

It contains Chitosin and Calcium Carbonate. Substances that bind to phosphates which control phosphataemia. In addition, chitosin will bind with uraemic toxins, which causes symptoms related to CRF.

Here’s why keeping nails short is important

1. It is painful to walk on long nails
2. It can affect your dog’s posture and gait leading to muscular skeletal issues
3. It reduces traction
4. Long nails can dig into your dog’s pads
5. They are less able to scratch an itch effectively
6. They are more likely to snag a long nail and cause themselves injury

If you are not confident trimming your dog’s nails, speak to your vet or an experienced groomer.
