Today, we remember Napi—not just as one of our dogs, but as a hero.
When danger entered the kennel, Napi faced it alone. She protected her family by killing the monitor lizard, not knowing that the toxins from that fight would slowly take a toll on her body. Her creatinine levels rose to nearly 1000, and despite everything we did, her kidneys could no longer recover.
Napi gave her strength without hesitation. She gave her life protecting the place and the family she loved. Her courage, loyalty, and quiet bravery will never be forgotten. We grieve deeply today, but we are also grateful—for the years we had with her, for her love, and for the hero she chose to be until the very end.
Run free, Napi. You did more than enough. 🤍
