โ€ข Assist the Vet-on-duty in all Veterinary Activities.
a. Taking petโ€™s weight and temperature upon arrival to the clinic
b. Assist the Veterinarian during surgical procedures, treatment, medication and confinement
c. Assist the Veterinarian during wellness procedures like vaccination, deworming, etc.
d. Cleans and sterilize surgical instruments/area before and after the surgery
e. Administer medications to in-patients as instructed by the attending Veterinarian
f. Reports to the attending Veterinarian on updates about the confined patients.
โ€ข Maintains cleanliness and orderliness in the Veterinary clinic areas including wellness and treatment area, laboratory area, and confinement area.
โ€ข Disinfects working area regularly
โ€ข Restrains/Handles patients in a proper way
โ€ข Maybe assigned for nightshift if there is a confined patient
โ€ข Works on Emergency cases beyond clinic hours
โ€ข Maybe assigned to other branches managed by the head Veterinarian as needed
โ€ข Maybe assigned to other task as needed like organizing products in shelves, inventory of products and supplies, etc.
โ€ข Receives products and makes sure that number of items from the delivery receipt is the same as the number of actual products.
โ€ข Make sure that clinic supplies are complete and organized
โ€ข Always represent Rosariovets Animal Clinic in a professional and courteous manner
