This is Angela a 1-year-old Chow 🐾

Angela was brought to the clinic presenting lethargic, recumbent, vomiting blood, bloody diarrhea, epistaxis and had 2 episodes of cardiac arrest. Fortunately, Angela never gave up and fought during and after blood transfusion. The procedure was successfully done and after a few hours, Angela was slowly recovering.

She was admitted for critical monitoring and further observation for 4 days. Then, she was discharged eating, drinking, active and responsive. No seizures and no bleeding at all. Thank you, Lord for the healing.

We are happy for you, Angela! 🐾 Thank you Ma’am Dayan Vergara for the trust.

Meet Milo, a 3-year-old Belgian Malinois. Milo’s condition began when her furmom noticed blood on urine and difficulty in urination.

Milo’s furparents went to Helping Hand Veterinary Clinic hoping to treat and save Milo’s life. When milo arrived, we immediately catheterized him and unfortunately it was not possible because there was a blockage so we thought of doing a cystocentesis for first aid. After that, milo felt a little better. We immediately took blood and ultrasound to find out milo's condition. Unfortunately, milo's bladder was blocked by a lot of sediments and blood clots. Milo's complete blood test showed infection, anemia, low platelet and problems with his liver and kidneys that almost led to kidney failure. Milo has medicines that he is taking and after 30 days of medication, he is now ok and has returned to his old form.
