What are some of the main differences between European and American Dobermans?

European Doberman's Characteristics:
-High stamina, drive, and exercise requirements.
-More likely to be physically protective.
-More dominant and excels as a working dog.

American Doberman's Characteristics:
-Calmer, slightly less exercise requirements.
-Less likely to be physically protective.
-A bit less dominant and excels as a family dog.

An American Doberman is sleeker and more commonly used in conformation shows and as family pets. European Dobermans are slightly larger with a high prey drive and are better suited as working dogs.
