A sucessful case of PYOMETRA

“JELLY”

11 yr-old female Shih Tzu, was brought to the clinic with signs of vaginal discharge, loss of appetite, lethargy and pale gums . Blood Tests, Test kits & Ultrasound were done and she was diagnosed with open - Type Pyometra, and a TRIPLE POSITIVE of blood parasitism (Ehrlichiosis, Anaplasmosis & Babesiosis)

She underwent surgical operation called Pyospay, or removal of the infected uterus.

"Feline Dystocia”

Snow went to labor yesterday, after her two kittens came, she continued to push unsuccessfully for several hours before they brought her to the clinic. C-section performed, one kitten were stuck in the pelvic canal. The kitten was stillborn.

Snow recovered well after the surgery. ❤️

Dystocia (difficult birth) can be classified as either maternal or foetal in origin, depending on whether it is caused by problems with the queen or kittens. Dystocia can also be classified according to whether it arises from obstruction of the birth canal or a functional deficiency of the uterine muscle.
