Molly was initially brought to the clinic to help detect if she was elective for a CS operation, by conducting a progesterone test. The test indicated that she was. However, upon cbc and blood chem, the results werenโt looking good so we opted to wait for a few hours in hopes that Molly would be able to deliver her puppy naturally.
Ultimately, our doctors then provided whelping assistance as she welcomes her only puppy without the help of surgery ๐
One of our patients tested positive with this deadly HOOKWORMS. Your dog can become infected with hookworm larvae when they go to clean their paws or smell another dog's feces. Routine veterinary care of dogs and cats, including regular deworming, will reduce environmental contamination with zoonotic hookworm eggs and larvae.
Always give your pets a Heartworm Preventives. Prevention is better than cure.

In less than a month of our clinic operations, we are surprised to discover that a lot of our patients are testing positive for diseases such as earmites, heartworm and the deadly parvovirus.
We would like to take this opportunity to emphasize that prevention is always better than cure. We recommend to bring your pets for initial check up as soon as possible, in order to protect them with the required immunizations and anti parasitic preventions.
