For check-up and vaccinations/deworming, imessage lamang ang aming page para makapag book ng appointment. Available din ang home-service within San Pablo City.

Giardia, the troublesome diarrhea maker in your pets
Diarrhea is a common symptom seen in, if not all, most infectious gastrointestinal diseases. One of the common diarrheal diseases, not only in dogs and cats but also in man, is known as Giardiasis.
Giardiasis is a zoonotic disease (meaning it can be transmitted from an animal to man) caused by a parasitic organism known as Giardia (see the moving things in the video below? that's them!).
Giardia is not a worm, a bacteria, nor a virus. It is a single cell organism, a protozoa, that can be acquired from contaminated water or food. Once ingested, the host (can be man or animals) may experience weight loss, vomiting, and diarrhea.
Treatment for Giardiasis is pretty straightforward. Simply intake or provide the necessary oral medications given to you by your doctor or your pets' Veterinarian and avoid drinking from the same contaminated water source or eating spoiled food (furparents take note of this!).
