“The Raise, Raise, Raise project: Making a difference and reaching out”
The Esplana Community Integrated Farm or simply Esplana Farm is into production and trading of chickens, cattle and goats. It is also into breeding and production of game fowl chickens. The game fowl production was a heritage of our father, Mr. Eladio Esplana who was a hobbyist breeder of game fowl chickens since his high school life until he retired in the government service.
This farming community of livestock and poultry has been established as an offshoot of the need to have a livelihood for the community, with the vision to make a legacy in the farming sector of the province of Marinduque. It is hoped to gradually flourish to support the food security goal of the government particularly the "Plant, Plant, Plant program" of the Department of Agriculture; hence, calling it the “Raise, Raise, Raise project” of the Esplana Farm. To date, the farm has provided employment to some residents in Barangay Pantayin, Santa Cruz, Marinduqe, where it is located.
