Some say “you cannot change a dogs past,but you can rewrite their future”

Its been a month since we adopted Mama dog(aka Marites) and the changes we’ve seen in her are amazing. Not only physically but her personality has also changed. She’s always been a good girl but she was also wary of affection. She’s not used to being hugged and not easily trained but slowly she’s been very open to trying new things and that makes us very happy.

Everyday were thankful for the gift that is her. In bringing sunshine and laughter to our somewhat monotonous days.

If you have the capacity or the means to take care of a new pet please try to open your hearts in adopting animals that are in need of a safe and loving home. There’s still more of them out there that needs a family of their own.

Anyone who is willing to adopt this dog? He is very friendly. He'd also come to the clinic to ask for food. We couldn't take him in since we have limited space in the clinic. We will shoulder his neuter and yearly rabies. He just needs a good home 🥺

This is little miss Beauty she has been coming to our clinic since she was a baby. Unfortunately she came in suffering from pyometra (a form of uterine infection) which needed for her to undergo ovariohysterectomy. Today she came back to get her stitches removed and is doing good. Say hello to Mama Dog! She would frequently visit the clinic for food, she'd wait at the door, tail wagging. She did that for months since last year. We would actually deworm her and was given antirabies, all the while we thought she was owned by someone. The past few weeks we hadn't had a visit from her, up until we saw a post about the dogs at the pound here at sta. Barbara. We saw a photo and it looked like her, the same day we visited the pound to confirm our suspicion. We were right it was her! She was there for almost a month and a half! The next day we went back and took her and is now staying at the clinic for good, no more street life for you!
Ps: there are still dogs there in need of a good home, pls open yours to them.
