Due to the increasing cases of heartworm positive dogs in the area, we are encouraging furparents to bring their furbabies without any heartworm preventives, 6months old and above, to get heartworm test in the clinic. Those furbabies who are 6months old and below must receive heartworm preventives.

Heartworm can be prevented!

Fur's Life Veterinary Clinic's second rabies free community campaign came to a successful conclusion today with 263 pets given a free dose of Anti Rabies Vaccine at Imperial Homes Silang Cavite.

This activity is part of our Clinic's 4th year anniversary and a way to give back to the community. We are grateful for all the responsible furparents who participated in the event.

As we celebrate our 4th year anniversary this year, we have chosen 4 communities or barangay near our clinic to conduct our community service ( Rabies free Community). Today, Nov 3, 2024, we started our free rabies vaccination (1 of 4) at Buklod bahayan community with a total of 280 pets. Our next stop will be at Imperial community.

With summer already here, it's important for pet owners to be aware of the signs and symptoms of heat stroke in dogs. If left untreated, heat stroke can quickly progress and become more severe, leading to death. The early signs of heat stroke in dogs may include some or all of the following symptoms:

- High body temperature
- Restlessness or agitation
- Excessive panting or difficulty breathing
- Drooling, often with thick saliva

If you notice any of these symptoms in your dog, it's important to take immediate action to cool them down and seek veterinary care as soon as possible!
