LOOK: As part of the efforts of the Tacloban City Veterinary Office (CVO) to stop the spread of ASF, a hog dealer from Calbiga, Samar, was denied entry into the city for not having the necessary veterinary health clearance.
The operation was held in coordination with the 805th MC of the PNP, which set up a border checkpoint at the San Juanico Bridge in Cabalawan, Tacloban City. As of this time, there have been no reported cases of ASF in the city.
