🌧️ Rainy days got your furbaby down? 🌧️

No worries, Pawrents! Keep your pets cozy, entertained, and happy with these tips:

1. Thoroughly dry your pet after walks in the rain to prevent colds and infections. Pay extra attention to their paws and ears – those little spots can hold a lot of moisture and cause discomfort!

2. Keep them entertained indoors with fun toys and games. Puzzle toys, treat-dispensing toys, and hide-and-seek are great ways to keep them mentally stimulated when outdoor play isn’t an option.

3. Watch out for fleas and ticks during rainy weather. Give your pet’s fur and skin a regular check to catch any unwanted visitors, and use preventative treatments to keep them comfy.

4. Stay active inside! Engage your pets with indoor exercises like fetch, tug-of-war, or even running up and down the stairs. It’s a great way to burn off energy and avoid restlessness.

5. Save Pawstries for special rainy day treats! Brighten their day with our delicious and healthy Pupcakes, Woofles, Pupcups, or Pawkies. It’s the perfect way to turn a gloomy day into a fun one for your furry friends.

Last Sunday kicked off with an early start for Pawstries, and what a day it turned out to be! We were treated to one of the most delightful mornings as we watched the sunrise and the cutest furbabies run, their excitement contagious and their joy palpable.

A heartfelt shoutout to the amazing team at JCI Candahug Liberation, Inc. for spearheading the TACbo 2024 Run and Zumba For A Cause. Their dedication to promoting pet welfare and community engagement is truly inspiring, and we are grateful to have been a part of such a meaningful occasion.

And let's not forget about the highlight of our day – meeting new furbabies! Each wagging tail and wet nose brought us immense joy, reminding us of the incredible privilege we have in connecting with these furry friends.

Reflecting on the past week fills our hearts with gratitude as we had the privilege to extend a helping hand to our dear furbabies at Hope and Haven 4-Paws Animal Rescue. It was a touching experience made possible by the generosity of our kind donor, Tim's furmom. Their contributions not only provided essential support but also brought immeasurable joy to the shelter's residents.

As we cherish this moment of giving, we are reminded of the ongoing need for support. Countless animals still rely on our compassion and assistance to lead happier, healthier lives. We encourage others to join us in lending a helping paw – whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading awareness. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of shelter pets.
