Hi, my name is Macy😀

I’m a brave pup who recently had a bit of a rough time. You see, I wasn’t feeling my best. I stopped eating, started vomitting and had a really high fever. My parents, who are both medical doctors (they’re pretty smart), noticed something was wrong and rushed me to the vet.

Good thing they didn’t try to give me paracetamol—just kidding! 😄

When we got to the vet, they checked me over and found out that my platelet count was low. Then, we got the news that I tested positive for something called Anaplasma. The vet explained to my parents that I got it from a tick, probably from one of my doggie friends.

But don’t worry, I’m getting better now
I’ve been getting lots of care, and I’m feeling better each day. Hopefully, I’ll be discharged soon and back home with my parents where i belong.

Dianna, a five-year-old shih tzu, was brought in for grooming, but what we discovered was alarming. Her fur was heavily matted, creating a breeding ground for flies and maggots that had infiltrated her skin, face, and even more sensitive areas.

Dianna received urgent care, and after the treatment, she began to respond well to medications. She’s now on the road to recovery.

Her story is a powerful reminder for all pet owners: regular grooming and health checks are crucial, no matter how busy life gets. Let Dianna's experience inspire us to prioritize our pets’ well-being.

Meet Nido, the brave parvo survivor! Today, Nido just received his final dose of the 5-in-1 vaccine. This adorable pup has overcome so much, and his vaccination is imporant in ensuring he stays healthy and protected.

Nido's story reminds us the importance of vaccinating our pets. Vaccines, like the 5-in-1, protect against multiple diseases such as parvovirus, distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza and Leptospirosis. They not only keep our furry friends safe but also contribute to the overall community health by preventing the spread of contagious diseases.

This morning, we performed euthanasia on a 14-year-old German Shepherd at the owner's request.Despite normal liver and kidney function tests, the dog suffered from severe neurological dysfunction. Although euthanasia might be perceived negatively by some, I personally believed that it's a compassionate option for dogs experiencing pain, those with incurable illnesses, and those with a diminished quality of life.While we may grieve the loss of our cherished pet and the bond we shared, it's essential to continue offering love and support to our remaining pets, as life persists beyond one death.
